Efficient freight handling isn’t just about moving cargo; it’s about doing it safely, quickly, and without unnecessary handling. In this recent project, Red Tow demonstrated how our towing and container divisions work together to complete a complex operation in a single, seamless move.
Our client had imported a 40ft container from Slovenia filled with prefabricated building components. The cargo was carefully packed and braced for direct offload, but only if the right equipment was available. Red Tow’s integrated setup — combining container handling equipment and heavy transport capability — made it possible.
We used a Full Container Handler to line up the container precisely behind our SuperTilt extendable chassis trailer. Using the SuperTilt’s dual winches and hydraulic tilt deck, our team was able to cross-load the entire contents from the container directly onto the trailer in a single step. This method eliminated any need for forklifts, cranes, or manual unloading.
Once transferred, the load was secured and delivered the following day, exactly as directed — without any additional double-handling, saving both time and cost while reducing the risk of damage.
This job perfectly highlights Red Tow’s ability to combine container operations, towing expertise, and SuperTilt technology to achieve efficient and professional outcomes.
