HC Driver with Crane & SuperTilt Experience – Permanent Casual Position
Red Tow is expanding and looking for a skilled HC or MC Driver (Manual Gearbox) to join our Melbourne-based team.
This isn’t your typical repetitive driving job — it’s an exciting and varied hands-on role involving truck-mounted cranes, SuperTilt trailers, sideloaders, and container transport across Victoria.
About the Role
You’ll operate a mix of specialised Red Tow equipment including:
- SuperTilt trailers for machinery and container transport
- Sideloader trailers for container delivery and relocation
- Truck-mounted cranes (EFFER / PM) for lifting and positioning
- Exposure to heavy recovery and underlift operations (training provided)
The work is roughly 60% regional Victoria and 40% metro Melbourne, offering plenty of variety and travel without the long-haul grind.
Requirements
- Current HC or MC manual licence
- Lifting, craning or tilting experience essential
- Several years’ experience in the Melbourne transport industry
- Forklift licence an advantage
- Container handling experience is a must
- Suits a mature-age driver seeking a balanced lifestyle over excessive hours
- Average 40 hours per week, permanent casual position
