Import FCL Collection from the Wharf
Most imported expandable and folding homes arrive in Australia packed inside a 40ft High Cube (40HC) FCL shipping container.
The first stage is collecting the import FCL from the wharf and transporting it to our handling facility, where the home can be safely unloaded under controlled conditions.
Controlled and Precise FCL Unpacking
Removing a large expandable home from a shipping container requires considerably more control than simply pulling it out.
Our refined unloading process combines a Ferrari Reach Stacker with Red Tow’s expandable SuperTilt. The home is carefully winched from the 40HC container onto the SuperTilt in a controlled, inch-by-inch operation.
We can continuously adjust the height, deck angle, pulling force and pulling direction, allowing the movement to be closely monitored throughout the entire unloading process.
The objective is simple: a precise, controlled unload with zero damage to the imported home.
Storage & Handling
Not every modular home can be delivered immediately after unpacking. Site preparation, permits, builders, electricians and other contractors may still need to be coordinated.
Through our combined operation, we can provide storage and specialist handling until the home is ready for delivery.
SuperTilt Transport & Crane Services
Red Tow operates specialised equipment suited to transporting and positioning expandable homes and portable buildings.
Our expandable SuperTilt allows large modular structures to be loaded and unloaded with controlled deck angles and winching. Where lifting or precise positioning is required, our crane trucks provide another transport and placement solution.
This gives us the flexibility to select the correct equipment based on the building, dimensions and site conditions.
